I will have to check this out.
Kewl. Here was my thoughts, maybe I am wrong on this, but since Windows 10 support is going away Oct. 14, 2025 and Windows 11 is still a free upgrade. I was thinking if I can upgrade for free still I better do it.
On the other hand, WIN11 just recently surpassed WIN10 but only recently, I would assume Microsoft would like to see more WIN11 out there prior to WIN12 release so another angle would be they keep the upgrade from WIN10 to WIN11 still free.
Prior to WIN7 to WIN10 being free upgrade, you had to pay for upgrades or buy a whole new O/S I still have Vista to WIN7 upgrade keys...if I remember right WIN7 to WIN8 and 8.1 you paid too, maybe it was the first free one, can't remember.
I am already preparing/eyeing my other WIN10 PCs/Laptop to upgrade to WIN11
NOTE: One thing to keep in mind, 25H2 has not come out yet, one can wait for it this year 2025 then do the WIN11 upgrade, that is if the upgrade will still be free. Or to my understanding I will need to reinstall WIN11 through the flyby11 installer again to upgrade from 24H2 to 25H2
I know the developer is working on this, maybe he will have something to make this easier than going through a whole upgrade, which honestly was a piece of cake.
Windows does a major update at least once a year.
