With Internal POE +USD8

Hi. If a camera spec says “With Internal POE +USD8”, should I infer it’s got POE built-in? Or will I need to install a module?

I’m looking at a PT5AM22XH500. I bought a previous model for $100 and have been happy with it for the price. I haven’t been able to find a 20x camera for less than $600 otherwise.

Cantonk should be avoided. Seriously. I'm glad you've been happy, but several of us here have had consistently poor experience with them and the people who re-brand them.

I've had a 20x zoom that we've really liked for wildlife watching in the yard. I can't get it to power up anymore. When I plug in the power brick, the brick flashes at me. I took it apart and can't find anything apparently wrong wrong with it. Its clean and dry on the inside. I have a feeling recent power surges at the house took it out. I lost a wine fridge pulling duty as a humidor the last time we had power flashes.

Are there recommendations for a 20x or similar PTZ for under $200?
