The city said I need to document all I can and then submit them traffic engineering so they will come and either paint another official lane or mark it off.
And so it goes.......they want YOU to do their job for THEM.

Certainly, it's your call but I'd tell them to pound sand. :cool:

I tried. They came and put those traffic counters out but that doesn't help with wrecks and people not paying attention. My main issue is that whole side of the house is bedrooms and there's a wreck at the very least once a month. More like twice a month. They stay in the street most of the time but every now and then some kid will be speeding and those hits are a lot harder. Cars get spinning in those. I feel they could prevent most of the small street wrecks if they block off the non existing second lane.

Have you been to the city council meetings and bitched? Maybe it's time to start, if not.
 
No. That's the next step. I wanted to get some nice clear videos from Andy's cams and apparently a 2 camera solution to the original problem.
