I'm trying to get a sixteen 3megapixel cam setup running to an NVR (probably a dahua 5800 series)... I was looking for a switch and found one locally for a good price... this is the one Cisco WS-C3560-24PS-S V06... It's a catalyst and I believe it's 10/100 only, but also has two GB uplinks to go to the router and the NVR. http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/catalyst-3560-series-switches/product_data_sheet09186a00801f3d7d.html

or should I get a 10/100/100 only for this setup?

I think the 3mp cams do 5Mbps max

My upload speed on fios is around 35Mbps

The other option was the Cisco SG300

Any help is appreciated

More info on this particular switch

● 24 Ethernet 10/100 ports and 2 SFP-based Gigabit Ethernet ports ● 1RU fixed-configuration, multilayer switch
● Enterprise-class intelligent services delivered to the network edge
● IEEE 802.3af and Cisco prestandard Power over Ethernet
● IP Base software feature set (IPB)

It doesn't seem to have the ● IP Services software feature set (IPS) • Provides full IPv6 dynamic routing - full IPv6 dynamic routing (whatever that does)
