We are wanting to have a couple of android tablets mounted around the home displaying cameras. Eg. a tablet at the front door, displaying the front door cameras. And a tablet in the bedroom for viewing various cameras around the house.

Does it make sense to invest in Milestone Xprotect, run an i7 server, and run these tablets as Web Clients?

If the server is sending out the low-res substreams to the Web Client, is it possible to click on one of the substreams and get a full 1080p view of that particular camera?

Is a modern i7 (eg i7 4770) enough to serve 2 or 3 Web Clients?
