My UNIFI switch was showing one of my POE devices as “Zhejiang 38:21” with a vendor label as “Zhejiang”. Have you ever noticed that on your Dahua cams? I do see that name associated with Dahua but I was surprised to see it.

Makes sense; Dahua's company name is Zhejiang Dahua Technology Co., Ltd.

Zheijiang is a province in China. Lots of companies are based there - Dahua, Hikvision, Alibaba, etc.

I thought Hikvision was in Hangzhou........
Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd.
I had to search this one up..... John from IPVM knows a thing or two about cameras.


and luckily I searched that up before opening my mouth, that is in the province of Zhejiang!
