Focal Length Calculator

This tool is used to determine the focal point of a camera to help determine the best size lense to order. It uses the min and max value of a varifocal lens. Click the question marks for tips and help.

FMAX Maximum focal length of a varifocal camera. EX: A 2.7-1.3.mm camera max is 13.5.

FMIN Minimum focal length of a varifocal camera. EX: A 2.7-1.3.mm camera min is 2.7.

FEQ Equivalent focal length corresponding to the actual zoom setpoint (ZSP).

ZSP Actual zoom setpoint of a vaifocal camera.

ZMAX Maximum possible zoom setpoint of varifocal camera. Ex: Value you see when camera is zoomed all the way in.

*Preloaded with OPC-HDW5231R-ZE which is 2.7mm-13.5mm*
