Hi again Andy, I'm looking for a camera with a "line in" input for a remote microphone to use with my Blueiris build. I'm basically using the camera to get a recording remote microphone so the camera can be on the low end. Thanks for the previous help, my IPC-T54IR-ZE is working well.
Hello, to all I have just bought a DVR/NVR Hybrid 16 channels. In the info page I read:

Product Model: H7016
Software Version: V1.0.1.6340
Hardware Version: V1.0.0
Software Release Time: 2016-05-19

Any suggestion for finding new firmware update?
Thank you.
hi is it possible to connect the hikvison camera vr to aws or google cloud?

No, but you could create your own cloud on AWS based on ISUP protocol by following ISUP documentation for implementation.

Prior registration and NDA signing is needed to access such documentation.

I received an email notification that a renewal for my Blue Iris subscripion will cost $29.00. However, it actually cost me $37.75? The renewel goes through an entity called "Digital River GBP GMBH". Have I been scammed? I paid through PayPal, so I can get my money back if so.

That is the vendor that is used to process payment. $29 is to do automatic annual renewals and the $37 amount is for a one-time purchase of a year renewal.

OpenVPN would work if you have it on the router on-site and then deploy it on your remote PC. Would be the same as being there on local lan.
I am an old man.....I am new here.....and I am in trouble......lol.

I need assistance on an old hikvision 4 channel system. When I export footage to a storage device I always get about 20-30 files of motion clips. How do I manage to select only 1 Time period and receive only one file as opposed to the many clip files. I have no manual. II have tried clipping and unclipping, I have tried almost everything
my old mind can think of and yet I cannot get it right. Any assistance would help. This system offers event and continuous if that helps, blue and red bars. BUT.....the continuous bars are unable to be selected ????
Any help would be appreciated....Thank you

Well its never just one file. If its continuos, it will be split depending on configuration or firmware. But with motion detection its basicly alot of files.

You can use additional software to bind them into 1. But if you just wish to watch at it as one then use hikvision player called VSPlayer.

Otherwise like i said above, something like Sony Vegas would do the trick if you need entire file to send someone or similar.

For Windows there's this free open source program called AVIDemux which can easily join your split footage together without reencoding (faster and no quality loss). You can also make simple jump cuts too, so you don't waste space for the times when nothing happens.
It's really easy you just drag the first clip into the window let it load and then add the second.. once you have all your files added you click the "save video" icon and it merges the files into one big video.
Just be aware that your files have to use the same settings, this is only a problem if you changed resolution, framerate or codecs between those clips. It would also mean that you can't join a clip that is landscape and one portrait together.

Yes, they will need to be on the same IP address except the last number will be different for each thing on your system. Example: 192.168.1.xxx. Make sure the first three numbers are the same and the last number is different than anything else on your network.

Hi Andy,

I'm looking for one IPC-Color4K-T S2 version with a 2.8mm lens or anything better with good night vision to monitor my driveway. I live in the UK, so I was also wondering how much I'd have to pay for shipping and import fees.

Thanks

Hi Andy

I'm looking for one or two 2.8mm cams with good night vision, most likely the IPC HDW-5442TM-ASE, if that's the best one for night vision?

I'm in the UK, so please can you let me know how much it is per camera, plus shipping and if I need to pay VAT or import tax?

Thank you
