Best Practices
1-Reboot cam
2-Reset to factory defaults
3-Update firmware
4-Reset to factory defaults once again
5-Set up from scratch, do not import saved settings.
6-After upgrade and resets, IP address will be 192.168.1.108

The Smart IR firmware with SMD 3.0 has been released. The update is mainly because of the new lot has a small hardware change, so this firmware can work for both the latest new cameras and old batches.

In 2021, we will use the SMD 3.0 as the main firmware, there will have another version coming out in later June. This firmware is working great with the help of @Wildcat_1 @looney2ns 2 and lots of guys here.
