Searched for an answer to this but couldn't find anything. I just switched from standalone mode to windows service, and it looks ok except that my camera list is now empty. No defined cameras. I switched back to stand alone and the cameras are back. Is it possible to switch to windows service mode and retain all my camera definitions without recreating them?

Thx
SK

I have never heard that happening...enabling the service should not affect the camera list..are you running windows 7 with hardware acceleration?

All BI settings, including the camera list, is kept in the Windows registry, which does have different sections for different users, so that is probably involved somehow. However I have not ever heard of this happening either. Might want to talk to Blue Iris support about that one so he can figure out what is up. I'm guessing some kind of rare type of user account setup happened.

you cannot run as a service and use HA in windows 7..you must disable the service or upgrade to windows 10.
That was it. Thx. I switched it to HA to try to isolate the HLS memory leak. Cameras are back in service mode.

update: HLS memory leak still there in service mode. :(
