Can someone give me an assist here please. I'm trying to install the SD card into this camera, but the instructions are NOT clear as to which screws need to be removed to pull out the module.
I think the manual is generic and isn't specific to my camera. Also, Do you see why I'm glad I took this cover off regardless? An no, I didn't' scratch it.

Edit: Or am I missing where the SD card slot is located?

Edit 2: Ugh, never mind. That's what I get for actually reading the instructions. Ha!

You actually don't need to remove anything other then the small cover to get to the SD slot, but glad I did due to the wires rubbing on the belt.

What was the default IP? The manual is talking about dials and stuff.

admin, admin worked for mine, and the other 4 Dahua's that just arrived.

It should immediately ask you to change to a stronger password.

Reset, got in, guess someone logged in and tested it and didn't reset it before they packed it. I might go to the hardware store and try to find some new screws for the small panel, or just never take it off again, those Philips kinda suck, the 4 hex head to take the big panel off are much better, other than that from briefly playing with it, I like it.

I don't see anything about a login in 157, I'll have to remove the little plate and try the rest
Sorry, made that reference for other readers that came in behind us. Not trying to confuse you. :) Glad you got it working.
Very happy with mine, altho it's still indoors looking out a window. Ha

I know right, getting it working is one thing, figuring out exactly where and how to mount it, is another.

I know where I'm going to mount it and how. Got almost all the pieces and parts to complete the install.....but Life and the weather keeps pushing that install date back all the time! Ice storm today, so don't think a trip to the roof would be a good thing. :)

How are you doing yours? I've got an interesting setup because my house has no attic, the overhang is kinda low so I haven't decided exactly how I want to do it, I guess if all else fails I will buy a long pole, dig a hole, fill it with concrete and mount it to that haha.

Very unfortunate... I was hoping to see some footage from your final install before I get mine... but at this rate... ;)
