Quick red flashed on the view frames

Can anyone explain these quick flashes of red border on several of my camera frames? There are no indications of motion trigger or events getting logged.

The lower left frame in particular but that is not the only one that does this.

that simply means that a motion event has been detected...it was not sufficient to trigger a recording..

Thank you. I don't watch the display under normal circumstances so it isn't too annoying.

I haven't noticed red blinks like that (but it does look like the same red icon and border as when the camera is recording). I thought the yellow icon was to indicate motion.

Maybe it was recording a snapshot instead of a video clip?
