IDMSS Lite - App Not Working

I have had this dvr and app for over 3 years now and never had a issue until the latest update on Nov 9, 2017. I woke up to find that my phone and wife's phone had done a auto update on this app and now neither of us can view our cams. Looking at the app store reviews, it seems that I am not the only one. Has anyone else experienced this or knows how to get it working again. Maybe another brand app? HELP !!!

Mine are still working. On iPhone and iPad as well. Maybe you need an update for your NVR?

Going to try that tonight. Dahua offered no help bc I purchased the dvr from amazon (3rd party). They suggested updating the app which I already did. Thats what caused this problem to begin with. I just hope I got the right firmware since their site isnt the easiest to use and they wont help.

Are you using P2P to access your NVR?

Mine are still working. On iPhone and iPad as well.
My guess is that you are using VPN to access yours?

My iDMSS Plus has stopped working when using P2P. I made a post in the NVR forum - initially I thought it was related to using cell phone data network, but now I realize it would not work anywhere except using my home WiFi. OTOH, VPN access or local wifi direct IP access continues to work.

Just realized that they released v3.51.001 today to fix this bug.

Update the App in App Store and it now works using P2P again.

Well I totally deleted the app and re-installed. I also saw that they app had a update yesterday, I bet that was it. Everything is working again !!!
