Upgrade HDW4631EM vs 4431EM worth it ?

I am currently running HDW4431EM's, 4MP @ 30fps. I want to remain at 30fps. The 4431 is non-STARVIS. If I move up to the HDW4631EM, I would still get 4MP @ 30fps, but would be moving to a STARVIS sensor. I have read a lot of great things about the Starlight series of cams, but I am not sure if the 4631 is considered a better low light model (compared to 4431), simply because it is not branded as Starlight, even though it has the STARVIS sensor.

So wanted your opinion, is it worth the upgrade for the sensor alone, as resolution @ 4MP would remain the same.

Thanks
Neil

If need starlight cams, then buy IPC-HDW4231EM-ASE. 6MP not good for the nightvision for 4 series, if you have better budget, you can use IPC-HDW5631R-ZE, sharper pics then the HDW4631EM-ASE.

nighttime shot.PNG Is there a bullet or mini-bullet version of the IPC-HDW4231EM-ASE ?

The pic above is from a Dahua 3Mp fixed 3.6 lens. The FOV is fine but I want a less noisy nighttime image. And less ghosting in movement.

why would you want a bullet? the turret is a better design in all respects.
