Should I upgrade firmware?

I just won 3 hikvision ds-2332 cameras on eBay. They are used and I am almost certain US version. They have the UL sticker and are all metal frame with English info sticker. They currently have firmware version 5.3.0. since I can't guarantee they're us version, I'm hesitant to try and upgrade the firmware. What features are added in 5.4 5 vs 5.3.0 and would they be worth trying to update?

Thanks. I'm not concerned with security as they'll be on a completely locked down vlan with no access to anything except my blue iris server. I may just leave them like they are since the video looks fine and any setting I would change is accessible already.
 
The camera serial numbers will tell you if they can be upgraded to the latest english firmware, or, if they are hacked english.
