Where to put BI recordings

I have a 120gb SSD and an 8TB Seagate. In the BI settings, where do I point the recordings to the Seagate? Is that the database file ?

Database file is separate...see clips and archiving

ok great, Also I put each camera on Manual Recording and then after a few seconds they seem to stop recording?

Yes... that is another setting it's limited by default...why in the world would you use manual record..
