Hi!
I have an issue with my Hikvision CCTV (HIKVISON 8MP IP POE 4CH NVR DS-7604NI-K1/4P)
Camera: DS-2CD2385FWD-I
After firmware update to newest version (from V3.4.97 to V3.4.98 build171121) camera status changed to disconnected and it saying what user name or password is wrong. After resetting to factory defaults nothing changed.
Will be very appreciated, if you can help me to sorted this out.
Thank you.
Juri

Correct login should now be what you used when it was new.

I may be remembering this wrong - but I have a recollection that about that version of firmware there was a new option to set the NVR-imposed camera password for those on POE ports in Plug&play mode, as opposed to using the NVR's own password for the cameras on Plug&Play ports.
But this has to be enabled.

If so - maybe the NVR is trying to use that alternate password setting. So, either disable the setting, or fill it with the NVR password.
*edit* Known, previous password - if you've reset the NVR to defaults.

If Virtual Host is active on the NVR web GUI - use it to access the camera directly and confirm what the camera password is - likely to be the NVR password.
