Why are my Snapshots blurred?

Hi all

Have my Dahua 2MP starlights setup to send email with snapshot when tripwire is trigged. Sometimes my snapshots show a person in shot but they have the motion blur, especially at night.

Anyway to fix this?

Is the video that is recorded blurred ?
What is the freame rate and the Iframe value.
Are you recording to an SD memory on the camera ?

FPS = 25 and the iframes = 50.

It is the still jpg file that is blurred.

Night time image blur of a person. I would suspect too slow a shutter speed rather than a frame rate issue.
Try setting your exposure to "shutter priority" with a custom range like 0 to 10 msec. Adjust upper limit to fastest (lowest msec) shutter time than still allow enough exposure to avoid image noise.
