Currently have a Skybell HD for ADC, and it constantly needs to be reset, deleted & re-added, the button sticks causing it to reset, and the motion sensor lens cracked in less than 1 year.

I was planning on getting the NSC-DB1 since ADC integration isn't as important as I wanted it to be.
I just stumbled across the Hikvision NA-KB6013-WIP and not seeing a lot of info. It says Q4 availability, so I'm guessing it's still too new.

Any chance any of y'all have any experience?

Just read somewhere it's already discontinued, and replaced with the NSC-DB1 equivalent?

Can anyone confirm? It looked much more visually attractive than the DB1

that makes more sense, considering it looks. "newer".

a1securitycameras.com says it was discontinued and replaced with the LTS LTK6128W-WIFI

must be a default/canned text. I may wait this one out to see if it's any good.

Quick question regarding the NSC-DB1 sold by Nelly's. I have gone through two Uniden DB1's in the last three months both of which developed rain droplets inside the camera lens and the last one started causing the door chimes to chime every few minutes and it lost video and it was a royal PIA to get connected via wifi since it can only connect to 2.4ghz. My front door has no overhang or roof so if the rain picks up or comes in sideways its gonna get a little wet.
My question is the NSC-DB1 the same as the Uniden DB1? I noticed Nelly's says the NSC-DB1 comes with a three year warranty which is comforting and I don't mind paying a few more bucks for that. Any suggestions? Thanks.

They are the same. Remember, these bells are only ip54 rated. If you dont have an overhang or some other protection you will have issues if its directly exposed to heavy rain.

We need to replace our (less than 1 year old) skybell HD. we get some heavy rain here, doesn't matter if there's an overhang or not lol.

I ordered the KB6013 from B&H who kept sending me email updates that it's not in stock yet. When I asked them a couple of weeks ago if they're still expecting it to be in stock some time soon they replied yes. They just contacted me today saying Hikvision told them they will not be releasing the KB6013 anymore and canceled my order after months of me waiting. Take it for what it's worth, I'm just relaying what I was told and don't know if it's fact.

ugh, that's too bad. I'm sending my skybell HD in for warranty and was going to sell the replacement. I have 5 access points in my home and it still has connectivity issues.

I have 2 outdoor APs waiting to get installed, and even if that solves the connectivity issues, my motion sensor cracked and fell off (10 months) and the button has started sticking which resets the doorbell.

Uniden DB1 vs Skybell... any opinions?

I have a new skybell, replaced under warranty. Last one had some physical damage, and needed to be reset monthly. Integrates with our Alarm.com

DB1 would be nice to integrate with BI.

Signal at the front door is lackluster, despite my home having 5 wireless access points.
Going to install 2 outdoor AP, one of which will be about 15' away.

Went through two Uniden DB1’s and they both failed and got water inside the lens. I would run from them. The only plus is they did work with BI but if your area is not covered they will allow water and it’s super buggy to connect to WiFi. If you have 5ghz you’ll have to turn it off in order to program. Good luck. I gave up on them and decided to go with a Dahue bullet in the corner.

Guess that settles it. Only reason for Skybell is the Alarm.com integration.

I have no coverage and live in North Texas. Rain goes sideways here. Also have a Dahua turret just above it, but like the additional. features of the doorbell cam

OK, I know it looks like I have some coverage because of the wall and the pillar. The coverage is probably 30' high lol

I'm late to the party but the NA-KB6013-WIP will never be release according to our HikVision Sales Engineer. His quote "correct in stating the WiFi “Doorbell” is NOT released and will not be released. The latest update is that a unit equal to, could be released as early as late 3q or early 4q." this was given to me today as a response to me asking when I could get a NA-KB6013-WIP as a demo.

good to know, I may revisit later on.

I ended up getting another Skybell HD or whatever the heck it's called, back in december/January I think.

I have my at&t routera and 3 asus APs, and it worked much better than the original.
I ended up setting up 2 outdoor APs, and set a 2.4ghz band up specifically for the skybell.
It's only failed once, and that was due to the button getting stuck which puts it into a reset/ready mode. This happened to the last one a few times.

Maybe I need to disassemble and pack some dialectic in there.
