Continuing the preparation for starting actually installing the cameras, today has seen me busy tracking down 'essentials'
A new pair of side-cutting cable cutters (large, and small), a replacement hot glue gun (a magic tool with a myriad of uses !) and a small tool box to put my ever increasing set of 'CCTV Camera' tools into & keep them in one place
Finally today found a supplier of Cat 6 UTP Solid Copper Exterior Sheathed ethernet cable and got a good price - for cash - on a 305mtr (1000 ft) full reel ...... that should last me a bit
The eBay seller of the two 4MP vandal resistant domes has supplied me with their IP & logon details so the first 2 cameras are ready to go up
All I need now is a break in the weather - and to get Blue Iris itself
