After much searching I have found the correct firmware for DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZHS/P ANPR. I accidentally upgraded the firmware with the non P version and could only get a maximum of 25 fps. I installed the correct firmware and now I've got 60 fps again.

Still operated as an lpr camera, but lost the 50 fps.
For the firmware I got it from hikvision site in Australia. Be careful to get the correct region as different countries have different plates. Eg the Australian on didn't detect new Zealand plates correctly, so I contacted hikvision support and they sent me a link for the new Zealand version.

I have DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZHS8/P and FW is V5.4.7 build 180611. I believe the FW is compatible, so I can share it if you want.
It fixed some issues I had with detecting the reverse traffic, but I still have over-exposure issue: when a car passing the camera, it recognizes the plate, then screen flicks. So, if you have two cars driving fast after each other, the second one passes by without plate detection.

Hey Dennis, can you please provide hikvision's url for the V5.4.7 build 180611 firmware version?
I just picked up a DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZHS/P from a local dealer in Vancouver, BC and would like to update it (currently it has v5.4.5 build 170914).
Also, I find the Hikvision site confusing... as it shows the "DS-2CD4A26FWD-(IZHS)(LZS)/P" line of cameras "NEW", yet the "DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZH" is shown as discontinued on the US site.
I assume the new versions are specific to the IZHS/P model?

I have two of these... DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZHS/P and DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZHS8/P. I've upgraded them to v5.4.5 build170914. (firmware is identical).
You can get it here: Firmware and search for "DS-2CD4A26FWD".
The firmware should be the same for yours, as the only option missing is "H" which is heater.
There is a EU Portal as well, but the firmware is not the same:

If you review the PDF (R0'R2'R6'R3ANPR V5.4.5 _170519Release Note--External.pdf ) for the EU firmware, and go to the very bottom, it shows that all these models take the same firmware.

I tried both of those firmware versions from US and EU
US: dz20170817_074_r3_en_std_5.4.5_170914_car.zip
EU: FF_R3_EN_STD_V5.4.5_Build170519_CAR.zip
Did not work, Status: The version of upgrade file mismatches.
I found another version on the US Hikvision site for specifically 'DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS' <-- No other abbreviations
apparently listed as 'last version for discontinued product' for just the 'IZS'
ds-4x24fwd4x26fwd6026fhwd_ip_camera_firmware_v5.4.41_170310.zip
I did install it BUT I lost the LPR function on it, however It gave me
these two modes SMART Event + Face Detection, SMART Event + Heat Map

found it on the EU site and now I am back where I started and I have my LPR function back
Maybe there is no later version then V5.4.3 build 161027 for just the -IZS LPR function.
your camera is a newer type with the extra H, S8/P etc

Hey Darren, I'm surprised. The PDF link I added to my previous post came from the EU site and is documentation specifically for V5.4.5 170519 (DOWNLOAD EU PORTAL) . Within that PDF it indicates this is firmware for ANPR cameras and the 5.4.5 170519 is compatible with DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS/P. Is yours a DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS or DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS/P? The /P is for ANPR plate reading camera.. so I would assume that is your model?

My model does not have the P in it, my complete model number says: DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS20170627CCWR78*******6
The /P is for the Iris, all cameras that have model DS-2CD4A26FWD are going to be ANPR or LPR mode but only if enabled.
Here is a great reference link that details the Hikvision model numbering system.
