hello, first time poster. :) I use BlueIris on p.c. and my android to see all my cameras. Husband uses IP Cam Viewer Pro on his iPhone. I have 8 other cameras configured on IPCam app but cannot seem to find the right "configuration options" to get the IPC-HDW5231R-ZE cameras configured on IPCam Viewer. Suggestions would be great.

Like with my other cameras, I use my "external static IP", and a specific port, that is assigned (and forwarded) for this camera. User and password are correct. I don't fill in the channel (because it's not on a DVR/NVR). I've tried "generic" camera settings and many of the Dahua type models.

Also unable to get the IPC-HDW camera configured on gDMSS app.

Help would be great.

thanks

The best solution is for him to also use the blue iris mobile app. With ipcamviewer, you cannot view recorded video. Additionally, you must stop port forwarding the dahua cameras, you will get hacked.
