@EmpireTech i dont see any of the:

Dahua SD59225U-HNI 2MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ Network Camera Support Auto-tracking and IVS 4.8-120mm Auto Zoom IR 150M English Firmware Upgradable

I have ~$100 store credit at newegg. Im thinking of buying this:

Dahua SD59225U-HNI 2MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ Network Camera Support Auto-tracking and IVS 4.8-120mm Auto Zoom IR 150M English Firmware Upgradable - Newegg.com

Can you match that price with my store credit included?

Or

Can you help verify that the vendor is 100% OEM and clean? Newegg says they guarantee that their vendors are 100% OEM and clean and are regularly audited. They also provide a free 3 year warranty that would cover anykind of spyware hackware etc....

I'm just curious and trying to get a good deal on a good product. I dont need anything else at this time from newegg. Just wanted to try out a ptz camera....

Just buy it from newegg since you have a store credit.
They do no audit their sellers, they have no clue about this space. Want proof? This is a china region hacked camera being sold on newegg, by the same seller as your ptz . Dahua IPC-HDW4431C-A HD 4MP PoE Built-in Mic IR Dome Network Security IP Camera - Newegg.com
if you think newegg is serious about any warranty particularly "spyware and hackware" you are kidding yourself. All china cameras come with hackware preinstalled. They call it firmware though.

Thanks for the reply. I'm wondering if theres a way to reflash the cam with Dahua firmware and do a clean install?

I figured Newegg was lying... I also reached out to Dahua cybersecurity group asking if they know anything about that seller or camera... any support they can provide etc... waiting for reply.

it will come with dahua firmware. It will likely just not be labled dahua in the firmware. Andys cameras are the same.
Both andy and that seller are not authorized by dahua. Dahua cybersecurity is an oxymoron.

For support.. I can’t get the link to pull up at the moment, but North America Dahua has a section on their site where they specifically say that they will not support cameras purchased via New Egg.

I’d be surprised if they knew/said anything about a vendor selling on New Egg.

With all of Andy’s visits to Dahua (and access to their support, road map, etc), it seems like he has some sort of official relationship with them, but who knows.
