Where this button record to?

I thought it will use storage settings but it didn't
Where did it record the file?
This is on Live page in Internet explorer with ActiveX component installed

Did anyone use this button at all?
How do you otherwise force start a recording?
E.g you watched live stream and noticed something that is not triggering the alarm recording but you still want to record that.

I've not used that botton on that NVR - but it's likely that Windows isn't trusting IE11 enough to save the files in the specified location, and is using the 'temporary internet files virtualised location' instead.
It's a normally hidden location that doesn't resolve in a search.

You could prove this by running IE11 'as administrator' and seeing if the files are where you configured them.
If so - depending on your security settings, adding the NVR IP address to IE11 'Trusted sites' can sometimes fix this.

Ooops, wast't obvious - OK, so add the camera IP address to IE11 'Trusted sites'.

OK I added trusted sites, but it does not answer my question
where is that file now?
I now clicked the button, it turns red, then I click again (to stop recording)
Where is the recorded files?
It is not on my NAS where the camera is set up to record on Event type (Scheduled, Motion Detection, Alarm)
