I looked around on the forum but couldn’t find an exact solution to this problem. My camera was purchased a few months ago, but was never installed. I tried to set up the camera and go through the Config Tool, but the camera is disconnecting from the network every few seconds. I tried to reset it but no luck; the problem still persist. When I look at the network status port, the data light will be on for a few and then stop blinking for about 7 seconds and then start again. This is a repeating loop. Any suggestions?

Have you tried a different Ethernet cable or different port on the switch?

Yep, so far I tried 3 ports on my Ubiquiti POE switch and two cables. All have had the same result. Just to note, I have the same model camera on this switch that is working perfectly fine.

When you say you "reset" it, did you do a hard reset where you hold the button down inside the camera? I had this same issue with the same camera. The hard reset fixed mine.

Yep I opened it up and held the little black squareish button until the green light turned off and then let it go.

Interesting, I also have a Ubiquiti switch. After resetting it, I used a short patch cable to test it overnight and it worked without issue. I guess at this point I would try the basics, power cycling the switch. I reset mine while utilizing an AC adapter plugged into the pigtail only.

Test the camera alone with your poe switch, use configtool to search the ip address or ping 192.168.1.108 on your browser to check too. Make sure to change your network to 192.168.1.xxx.
If nothing happend, have to do warranty if you buy from us.

By default IP you mean the 192.168.1.108 address? I do not. My other camera is on a 192.168.10.xxx subnet
Then how are you connecting to this camera? Dont use the config tool. Connect the pc and camera only to the switch, nothing else. Change the pc ipv4 settings as outlined in several threads to match the subnet.
