Have you tried to change to the laview firmware? my DB1 is coming tomorrow so just trying to get ready for the install. I'm getting mine from best buy so maybe something else would be different. i'll post once it's installed.
If you could let us know which firmware version your DB1 comes installed with (before you upgrade to anything different or change any settings) would be appreciated.

Thank You

So based on previous posts, it sounds like the RCA logo displays whether you have logo toggled on or off in EZVIZ firmware before the upgrade to LaView firmware. I wonder if Nelly's firmware will behave the same.
Can you remember if you upgraded the firmware in the EZVIZ App first, then install the LaView firmware?

Thank You

I used iVMS-4200 and did not change a single setting. I just flashed the LaView FW and when it rebooted, it had the RCA logo. Why does the LaView firmware have the RCA logo? What do you think the best way to get rid of the logo? Should I try the LTS FW instead? Thanks for the help.

Ok because it looks like it is connected to the electric panel directly. I did turned off the actual breaker when installed the doorbell but the transformer installation looks weird to me.
Hey I want to state, if you do not feel comfortable in removing your panel, then DON'T, I would get an Electrician out. I do not want to be the one suggesting any Electrical work being done to anyone without experience, low voltage is one thing, but you are talking about very High Voltage. You are still more then welcome to send up pictures so we can help with what is needed to change out your transformer.

I did not check version or update EZVIZ firmware before I updated my first unit to LaView. Second unit came in yesterday and I updated from build 190304 to 190708 last night.

Thank you. I am still guessing it is something to do with the older 190304 version, but it is just a guess. Got 2 more people I asked same question to.
I would still hold off on LaView upgrade.

Do you have the EZVIZ Logo since your update from 190304 to 190708? If so, in Batch Config. Tool are you able to turn it On/Off?

OK, mine's up and running. EZVIZ from Amazon:
Great start, but older firmware (V5.2.4 build 190304). I'd update it to the LaView 190716 firmware. You may prefer others. But that 190716 firmware is working well with ONVIF motion events triggering BI recording for me.
I would still hold off on LaView, unless you want the RCA Logo, hopefully we are close to figuring this Logo issue out.

Last night:
Unit arrived with V5.2.4 build 190304. I manually configured it in BI using the RTSP strings in the 101 post.

A few hours later the iOS app notified me that V5.2.4 build 190708 was available, so I upgraded to that. Went into BI and clicked the Find/Inspect button and it reset the RTSP path I had manually entered to just "/", which worked.

This morning:
Used the iVMS-4200 Client to turn off the EZVIZ logo.
Upgraded to LaView 190716 firmware. Logo remained off. Did another Find/Inspect in BI. Not sure any BI config settings changed. Video/audio seem to be working fine in BI, but I'll have to wait for someone to come on the porch to see if the camera is triggering BI alerts. Makes me wonder if ONVIF was working OK in the EZVIZ 190708 build.

Side note, I stopped getting EZVIZ app alerts last night when I disabled Alarm Notifications > Set the mode > Mute in an attempt to stop the doorbell from making a beep when it detected motion. ::shrug::

That's what it is supposed to do. You muted the notifications to your phone... The alarm notifications refer to mobile app notifications.

Great News!!! Then it does sound like the old firmware build 190304 might of been the problem. Once I can get a few more conformations, I will update the 101, Will be adding a EZVIZ Owner clause/section.

Thank you for helping all of us in this matter...

FYI, mine is set to Mute too and I still get notifications, only difference is I am on Android.

Hmmm, may be a permissions setting in the phone.

I'm about to make the plunge to the LaView 190716 build from EZVIZ 190708. I have turned logo off first this time.

In regards to your note about ONVIF, BlueIris is not automatically detecting my camera with EZVIZ build 190708.

You are correct, EZVIZ build 190708 does not support ONVIF. You will know if ONVIF is working when you do a find and detect in Blue Iris, it will find the DB. It also shows in my Network settings:

I did not update to latest EZVIZ FW prior to loading LaView FW.
Thank you for your help, looks like that is where the problem with the Logo appearing took root. I will be updating the 101 with our find. So where are you with yours, you have the RCA Logo right?

Thanks. It also seems to have muted the beep the doorbell was making too. Is there a way to keep the mobile app notifications but not have the doorbell itself beep when the PIR triggers?

Yes, I have the RCA logo on mine, but everything else is working great. My dahua NVRs are recording stream and the IMOU app receives the motion alerts. I hope we can find an easy way to turn off the logo. Having EZVIZ on the faceplate but RCA on the screen seems especially annoying.
