First post so please be patient.

I currently have 5 POE Reolink cameras, 1 POE Hikvision camera 2 older Panisonic BL C121 wireless and 3 Foscam wireless PTZ cameras all connected to my network. I record and monitor these cameras thru a PC running Netcam Studio.

My current set up is really bogging down the PC and I would like to find the right NVR that can handle these cameras at good quality. I purchased a Hikvision NVR DS-7616 POE, but was unable to get any of the wireless cameras to be recognized.

MY QUESTION......what are your recommendations on a good NVR that will handle these brands and wireless cameras at the same time? I tried almost everything on the NVR and could not get any wireless camera connected. I am planning on returning it to B&H Monday.

Generally speaking NVRs work best with the same brand of camera. With the mix you have you'll be hard pressed to find anything that even remotely will work and provide any kind of motion detection on them. I'd suggest a standalone PC running Blue Iris. After you get that up and running well, replace the older stuff, the Reolink and all the wireless stuff with PoE equipment, if you want reliabilty.

Have a look in the WiKi, in the blue bar at the top of the page. Read and study the Cliff Notes. There are also guides for CPU sizing, protecting your network and a ton of other great information in there. That way you can get a reasonable plan together. That's the time to start asking questions and testing, then probably revising, those plans.

Thank you for your reply. I have BlueIris but I couldn't get it setup satisfactory compared to Netcam Studio. I may look back into that

If you tried the trial version, CPU utilization will be high and some features may not work (not sure about the features but utilization will drop). A lot of folks here use it and are quite happy with it. There's a complete guide in the WiKI on optimizing BI that is very helpful. I have 11 cameras on mine, at the moment, and CPU is at about 20%. What couldn't you set up satisfactorily?
