Hikvision exposes Indian scam call center

Everyone knows about all the scam calls that originate from India, millions of them.

A guy in the UK constantly messes with them.

He has somehow gotten access to a call center's Hikvision CCTV cameras. It is quite interesting, he is releasing a 4 part video series on YouTube & the BBC also used his Hikvision footage.

So far the first 2 videos have been released on YouTube:





This Jim Browning guy seems to have some serious hacking skills based on the work he has done in the past. I wonder how he found & got into this Hikvison system?

Secured your NVR? These scammers haven't!

I love this one, A YouTube channel called 'JimBrowning' does amazing work in scam baiting. This latest video I love. Have these scammers secured their NVR? Nope! Thank you Jim, Let's watch this group. Then he shared the footage and got it on BBC on it...

Jim uses many remote access clients and scripts which he plants inside the call centre's systems to find all devices.

I've got a feeling he was able to view the feed live without password protection. I see 'Login' for a tab in the background of the first video.
He hasn't seemed to have been aware of the Hikvision backdoor entry.

If you're a patron you would of seen part 3 already. I won't reveal any spoilers.

YouTube's free.
And this site is not promoting people to hack into other people's systems.

Yea, that makes sense. If he had some way to get on the inside of the network, then a network scanner probably reveled the NVR. Then he got lucky and they had no password, or a simple password or something.

He seems to have infiltrated that network extremely well based on all the access he had.

I'm shocked he shared everything he found online, would hate to see him picked up by the cops - even if trying to stop the scammers he could get in trouble for what he did.

I was just interested by the fact that it was a Hikvision system the Indians were using, since I've also got Hikvision running.
