We need to thank these delivery drivers regardless. Had a USPS worker ringing my doorbell at 6:30 AM this morning. I thought it was my phone's alarm. Some of these workers are wearing masks, but not wearing gloves. I still recommend disinfecting packages even though its highly unlikely of contracting something. The incubation period on cardboard is about 24 hours according to Dr. Fauci.
Camera is the Dahua IPC-HDW5231R-ZE. It has the 2.7mm to 13.5mm lens. Since this is my overview camera for the front of the house the lens is set at 2.7mm. I will post this video later today.Let's see that video! And what camera is that?
I think he may have stepped on something earlier, as the street and our yard were clean.@lulu5kamz - did he step in some poop or something LOL.
Why is it other people's cam images and videos on here always look better than what mine produce LOL...
I had to sign for my new B5442E-Z4E this week from DHL. Seems like they'd skip that requirement now. I did wash my hands before unpacking the goodies, then washed them again after throwing the wrapping away.I had a very valuable and theft-worthy package left by the USPS on our porch with no signature even though it was shipped "signature required". Then that same day another highly valuable "signature required" package came UPS, and I was awake and ready for that one. The UPS guy told me they were not allowed to get signatures now. I actually felt guilty for having even opened the door in anticipation of needing to sign. I'm sure he'd have preferred that I leave the door closed.
These delivery folks are risking their health/lives to get us our goodies, and to tell the truth, I generally HATE "signature required" because it normally means that I will not get the package due to not being there or being asleep when the package arrives. We've never had anything stolen off of our porch, and with the area bristling with cameras, and being on a busy street, I don't expect it to start happening any time soon. So normally, I prefer that packages to my house just be left anyhow.
I think all of the delivery services are no longer requiring or even allowing signatures. If the crooks figure this out, there may be a bit of an uptick in porch piracy, but who knows.
