How's the audio quality both ways on this camera? Looking to install one at the front door.
 
Do you have on any recommendation? I assume the speakers need to be powered and the mic can just be any active mic?

There are a few threads on folks using various mics...you dont need an active mic..that is one nice thing about the hik...
I have not seen anyone mention the speakers they use...I would guess that small waterproof marine speakers may work..or outdoor intercom speakers...you will need to power them.
