older triggers not showing on timeline

My 4TB drive is holding about 18 days of data using 5 cams recording 24/7.
I can go back and review all of these days easily but on the timeline my triggered events only show up on the last 7 days and can see no reason they don't show for all 18 days.
I did a database rebuild just in case, but no change and even grabbed the most recent BI upgrade just this morning to see if that changed anything - nope.
I also notice that if I take any camera full screen - all triggers go missing from the timeline even though I know they exist from that cam.
Is there something simple I am missing here ?

For the alert folder set retention time to 100 days. Although not files are placed in that folder (unless you store high res alert images) it still affects the retention time of alerts

I am a little ticked at myself for not catching that when I set up these folders. Sure enough it was set for 7 days instead of the size limit I had put on it.
