Does anyone have a good connection at Alibaba through which I can order a couple of Hik Pin Hole with 2.8 mm lens? I am having difficulty getting non-english speakers to understand and confirm the 2.8 lens on the site.

I have one from these guys - messing with it on my desk for now. Ive ordered other cams from them no issues.
Note it will have 5.2.6 firmware. Some of the functions listed in the firmware wont work like missing object detection...and a few other advanced features, though they are not even advertised as functions of this camera.
Note that the base unit runs hot...

I am almost certain that my unit has a 2.8mm sticker..I will check when I get home. That said, if you look at the spec sheets, 2.8mm is only available on the cylinder non-pinhole unit..there is no 2.8 option for the pinhole.
This is the one I spotted that I think shows a 2.8 option but I can't get them to confirm because they do not understand my english well enough:

Every time I try to buy one of these off Ali I can't figure out why the heck someone does not sell them on Amazon, from US, at about 175. It's THE ONLY viable pinhole at this price point but simply not available through a US vendor.

They would have to charge more than 175 to make a profit on amazon.
That vendor you linked to, simply listed the specs for the tube cylinder model..
Thanks Fenderman. So there are 3 configurations available for this cam and the 20 and the 30 are pinhole and the 10 is the cylinder, is that correct? If so, what are the lens size options of the pinholes?

ic. I have one and it is 3.7 but I was hoping others were avail. The 10 is the Cylinder, the 20 is more or less tube shaped and the 30 is kind of an L shape. The 20 and the 30 are considered pinholes and likely only 3.7 available. Is my info correct?
I am wrong, the 20 is L shaped, the 10 is the tube shaped and the 30 is the cylinder. In which situations would one use the 20 as opposed to the 10?

Interesting. Hmm, I wonder if thats possible. I don't see that spec posted anywhere for the L shape.

Yeah, i dont see it either...no idea if its actually 2.8 or not...but thats what the sticker says.
Also note that the cameras come with two lengths of cord from the base to the cam...2m and 8m..
Maybe I am missing something, but 4mm lens appears to be the default with a 2.8mm option, but I don't see anywhere to specify the option:
I have seen a number of cut/paste type errors. I would assume this is another example of that and that 2.8mm lens is not available.
