TBH I would say that whether or not his actions in other fights on the night are justified is irrelevent for what he's been charged with. So far as I can see, 5 out of the 6 charges relate to the shooting of the guys that attacked him on the ground and out of those, only charge 6 doesn't relate to a self defence, defence, charge 6 being possession of the firearm by someone under 18. To that end, if he can show self defence, 5 out of the 6 charges should go away. Personally, as an outsider not only to the case but the country, I have to feel him being charged is pollitically motivated. I'm not familiar with US laws, but purely from the video, the guy was being attacked on the ground and had no choice but to defend himself. I don't want to say too much in case it's seen as prejudicial to the casse against him. However, I personally believe the shooting was justified from what I saw.

Rittenhouse had his extradition hearing today as scheduled via Zoom meeting from the juvenile detention center in Vernon Hills, IL.

His lawyers requested more time to contest extradition to Wisconsin. Judge okays two weeks, so next hearing Oct 8.

The media continues to demonize Rittenhouse as a murderer while backing the "mostly peaceful" protesters' attempts to injure or kill police or anyone else opposing them or just convenient to their manufactured rage.

The bought-and-paid-for-by-the-left MSM was careful to not show him before the attack with a fire extinguisher trying to put out a fire or show him earlier in the day helping to clean graffiti off of a wall. :mad:

It's all for the trial held by the mob in the media. They ignore and even deny the criminal records of the protesters/thugs/terrorists and make up incidents to paint anyone who stands up to them to defend themselves or the property they destroy.

Ya, that didn't age well.

We are now starting to hear the Officer's side of the story. Seem that people were yelling that Blake had their kids. It was also reported, although it is still not clear, that Blake was holding a knife/object in his hand. The Officer thought Blake was armed and involved in a kidnapping situation. Blake appeared to the Officer to be turning towards him and he fired, thinking that his life was in danger

I would have thought that was grounds for getting the charges dropped - if the case was in the UK he could claim he's unable to get a fair trial because of the widespread surrounding publicity that's informing everyone he's guilty before the trial has even commenced. He could argue it's impossible to have an impartial jury that being the case. If it was in the UK it's also possible that Biden's party may have committed criminal offences by prejudicing the trial by commentating on the case in such a manner before it's heard. Not sure of US law but if this is permitted maybe there needs to be a campaign to get US law changed to allow fair trials. One for you guys!:
