Why do I have clips with red borders?

This is normal. It means the file is still open to be written to.

Check your Camera Settings (right click that camera(s)) ---> Record tab ---> "Combine or cut video each:"

Hmm, this is beyond my pay scale now LOL.... that's the spot I thought that determined the length of recording a file..

When I'm in the "All clips" window - the icon that looks like the two-drawer dresser I get red boxes on my cams that are still in recording cycles. When I click on the alerts icon (lightning bolt) I don't have red boxes.
