Looks lake possibly a Boavisionor a Besder or some other Xiongmai clone.
In any event, be cautious: both are OEM'd by Xiongmai, a manufacturer known for insecure firmware, hacks, etc.

Probably no better than a human can. During the day, IP cams see pretty much like people in that they view what is reflected from the source lighting (sunlight during the day)....if YOU can see it, chances are the cam can see it.
