Looks like I'm not the only one who has found that wire coat hangers have an absolute multitude of uses. Beyond what was intended.
Especially for cable pulling in convoluted spaces.

Has anyone used the internal card slot in the mini bullet yet, and have it working? I don't need or use one but was curious if anyone else is using it. I prefer to record to a 2TB hard drive in my BI system.

I've used it on the speed dome version

It works ok

But the bug in the system is:
There is no logical arrangement of the recorded files and not in order

They are just mumbo jumbo all over the place
And it only accepts 32gb pretty useless seen as though the motion record is bad
Although you can configure it to save snapshots but I haven't tried.

These units seem happiest when used in tandem with a hikvision nvr

I want to use this camera trough WAN connection.

Tiny Cam Viewer:
PTZ function do not work. Picture only in Hikvision profile
PTZ functions work only in ONVIF profile, but I could only get it to work in LAN or when using default RTSP port 554. (I change RTSP ports to avoid conflicts)

Hikvision ivms4500:
Everything works

I was trying to work with Tiny Cam Viewer developer by providing him access to my cam to fix issue with Hikvision profile and PTZ controls, but he hasn't be very responsive. Perhaps someone else could try it out?

I'm able to PTZ control mine on my iPhone using Blue Iris app(I have a BI server at home) and the regedit mod that djangel gave earlier.

Really? How did you set it up on Onvifer? What profile?

I can see the picture but not turn the camera, using non-pro version.

I just used onvif profile, also non-pro version.

Getting it to work in general externally was a pita. All worked out though.

Lent the camera to a friend, so I can't check the settings at the moment

This camera works so well that I just ordered another one. Now I will have one in front yard, and one in back yard. I just paid 11 bucks more for DHL, since they really did a good job last time. These cameras are cheap enough to not even consider other ones.

No not tinycam, I used onvifer, also called onvif IP camera monitor from play store

Did you change default RTSP port 554?

Ya onvifer lets me use a custom port. My external port is xyz, internal port still 554.

Hello Guys
Do these cameras need a NVR to work properly? I do not have one, I noticed this camera comes with a SD card slat, if it requires a NVR what is a good NVR to buy.
Please let me know.

No NVR required. You can simply use a PC with either the software it comes with or use HIKvisions iVMS-4200 software. Also you can use IE or FF to view and control the camera using the default ip(192.168.0.99) the camera is setup for.
