Has anybody gotten push notifications on Android (version 11) to send alert pictures? I found several older posts about people having issues but didn't find a solution. I get images just fine with SMS alert actions. But all I get with app push notifications is the text. Running app version 3.0.26 and BI 5.4.3.12. I have "send rich notifications" enabled and set to alert images.

How are you remote accessing BI? if you are using a vpn and not connected to the vpn the app will not be able to obtain the picture.
Not using a VPN. Local LAN and when not using ZeroTier. So BI doesn't know the difference. But local or not doesn't matter.
Well I got this working. Not completely sure what fixed it as I had changed a few things. The last thing I did before it started working was to delete my phone from the mobile settings, shutdown and restart BI, then select and setup the phone again in BI. Not sure if that will help anyone else or not....

I had to use certbot to generate a cerificate to go along with stunnel to get HTTPS connection working with latest Android app update.
Not getting any push notification images though when using HTTPS connection.
I get alerts just no images.
If I use basic port forwarding and http connection images come through fine.

I can't even get images to push to my Android Note 8 using HTTP. Alerts come through fine, but no images.
I get the push notification messages but never a picture...I just see a square blank space...then the other day, out of the blue for the 1st time ever, I receive an image in a random push notification! I was so excited! 
...but then it never happened again.

This worked fine until the latest 6/1/21 update on android (3.0.28). Comparing the phone with 3.0.27 side by side with the same alerts and photos only show on the 3.0.27 version. Ever since the update to 3.0.28, i no longer get photos.
Don't know how to roll back, but i have 2 phones exactly the same with the same settings side by side and only the version prior to 6/1/21 release shows photo previews. Knew something was weird when i changed nothing and they stopped showing that morning and saw the app had updated.

Do you want to make a separate post on this forum and blueiris.com forum for them to see this issue with the latest app update, otherwise i can do it
Awesome. Which version do you have now? I'm still seeing the old version(3.0.28) released 6/1/21 on my phone and via the Google Play store

So in take it you are on BI 5? and now get alert thumbnails on the mobile alert push notification pull down bar?, Issue still present on Bi 4.8
