5.4.7 - May 25, 2021 - Support for DeepStack custom model files

FYI I DO see the normal DS detection indication of "person" on the image that was sent in the text message. Tried on 2 other cameras and the &JSON macro is still {"success":false,"error":"invalid image file"} on all of them.

Can someone help me confirm or deny that my BI / DS is using the custom models or not? Guessing not based on the testing results from the above. Latest screen shot of SMS with &JSON attached.

If the JSON output is accurate, then it appears that there is a problem. Suggest you send this to Blue Iris support.

Looks like 5.4.7.3 has the JSON message sending the right information now:

On the snapshot I am not seeing both detection labels though. JSON says label "person" at 74% and custom model "dark" label "People" at 82%, but only see the "person:74%" on the image.

I noticed that too. Suggest sharing this with Ken. Perhaps the model does not like the something about the jpgs it is receiving.

1) Downloads files
2) Create new folder MyModels, C:/DeepStack/MyModels
3) Add 3 files on MyModels folder



4)Settings->AI->Selected "Use custom model folder"

5) Restart PC

What do you have for Camera Settings->Trigger->Artificial Intelligence?

So,
Car , capital c is from the customs model (night)
car, lowercase c is from the regular AI model

That's what i've noticed on my labels

Maybe that means we could have a 'night' profile ai, and have it report things with capitals, and during the day report things with lowercase, haven't tried yet

I'm with you, I'd really like a model that IDs common rural animals like deer, raccoon, possum, rabbits, skunks etc.

Yes DeepStack is free. Download the CPU version here:

Using DeepStack with Windows 10 (CPU and GPU)

Simply download it and run the .exe file. You do not need to open or run it. BI will take care of the rest and any setup is within BI.

what we need is a service like they have on bleeping computer, where you make a donation and they use login me in and rid your pc of nasty things, I used that when I had a cryptolocker and it was great. I have had a roaring headache for over three weeks and getting DS setup right is frustrating as heck. I am sure it does not help that BI is setup on my S: drive because my main drive in only 500 gig SSD

What else is on your main drive? Many here have a 256GB SSD and run just fine...

Sounds like you are using the computer for more than BI?
