A DeepStack status page has been added. This allows you to inspect DeepStack results and
performance following an alert confirmation or when using the testing & tuning options in
the clip viewer.
You may now specify 2 objects together with “and” logic on the “to confirm” and “to cancel”
fields for DeepStack alert confirmation by combining them with a +. For example,
car+licenseplate.
An option to add motion overlays when re-encoding has been added to the Convert/Export
clip function

Just updated to this version and all my push notifications and DS quit working.

Tried a reboot trick and nothing.

Getting the Deepstack server error 100 message again.

Will try a few more things like uninstall DS and reinstall and if not working, I will send an email and rollback.

This post is to document a new feature in 5.4.8 (not related to DeepStack).

In the “Run a program or script” action, the ‘File’ box is now editable (highlighted in the screenshot).

Before 5.4.8, the box could contain only the full filespec to an executable or script, and you could only select it using the file navigator (3-dot control). For example, C:\Program Files\Python39\python.exe or C:\PHP7\php.exe.

Now you can directly type the executable as you would cmd.exe and run the program using the Windows environment path.
Example: python.exe or php.exe, or even just py or php, if supported.

BENEFIT? Now when you update a program like Python or PHP (usually installed in a new path) or want to experiment with multiple installed versions you no longer need to edit every ‘Run Action’ using that program in Blue Iris.

errors after clip:
If I turn off 'DS test and tune' while in clip and then close clip, no error. Temp fix at best

Deepstack status blank:
in camera choose trigger-->AI-->check 'save AI analysis details'

I keep getting errors when exiting playback of clips. DS wasn't working well with two models added either.
I am getting this as well. Contacted support and Ken asked a few questions. Appears to be if you have the "Analyze with Deepstack" from the "Testing & Tuning" menu then you get the error when exiting the clip, if you turn that to "Off" you don't get the error.

Open the Deepstack status window
then
Playback a clip from after you checked 'save analysis'
now look at the deepstack status window and it will show you what was used for the alert confirm for that clip

"Apply to motion triggers only." Can someone give their opinion on the context of this option? Does the option provide for the use of deepstack during alert confirmation for motion triggers ONLY and not...what? Or is this option designed to analyze deepstack's previously confirmed and recorded clips? I can't make sense of it...and the help file as far as I can tell doesn't elaborate.
