I have been configuring an Andy Dahua SD49225XA-HNR PTZ for a few days. I hade it going OK but now have a problem;
  • 1 On IE can configure and control the camera PTZ but cannot see the camera view.
  • 2 On BI 5 I can see the camera output but not control PTZ
  • 3 On UI3 I can see but not control camera PTZ
  • 4 On Chrome camera IP I can see the camera and control PTZ.
I hope someone has had this problem and can recommend a fix.

I downloaded the Chrome extension and selected :IE 10 Standards Mode. Everything works for viewing and programming for me.
To control MY camera in BI 5 : Network IP =ONVIF
Enable ONVIF in the cameras setup. Settings/Network/Access Platform/ONVIF/On/save
Good luck

I also have my BI PTZ settings set to ONVIF (OXML) for both of my cameras. I used Find/Inspect and that is what it selected. As for viewing video in IE, there may be a plugin(?) that needs to be installed. It should automatically prompt for download/install when you connect to the camera, otherwise maybe your security settings in IE block it? I have also read that the chrome extension works just as well.

In most case's, instead of ONVIF, choose Dahua New V4 in the dropdown.
It will work better with the PTZ.
Weird.. had my 49225 set up to generic onvif too and on 5.4.9.8 there is no Dahua New V4.
