Getting the hang of it

I can’t seem to find any details as to what model it is. I was able to reset it so the IP is back to the default 192.168.1.108 then logged into it using a browser.

Didn’t see anything in any of the menus that indicate what this might be.

seeking assistance
thank you.

I've seen a Q-see Brand, Lorex Brand, and a Imou branded model. ( WIFi versions )

The lorex brand also had a IP PoE version 8MP / 4K"

I've seen a Lorex branded version in a kit at Costco numerous years past ( 8MP ).
( lorex model LNB8105X-C / LNB8105x )

The Q-see WiFi model was challenging for purchasers to setup .. think there were a lot of returned product.

ah...the plot thickens. Thank you, @mat200

So, it is definitely not a wifi, only PoE. Are Lorex and Qsee brands, both are Dahua OEM's?
Reason I ask is the firmware was updated back in 2019. The person who gave it to me, as I recall, they had asked questions about it back then.

From intial testing, it seems to be working as I'm able to connect to it via the browser. I am awaiting my refurb desk optiplex desktop to arrive, once I have that going, I'll purchase BI. Once connected to BI, would there be a way to indentify the brand/model # of this cam ?

Yes, that is the IPC-HFW1831C-PIR if that is 4K one.

Hi Andy,
Thank you for that confirmation. =). It is appreciated.
I may reach out to you to find out what most stable firmware would be good to apply to this cam to make it (reasonably) current.
