I have Dahua equipment:
NVR: DHI-NVR4108-8P-4KS2
IPC: IPC-T5442T-ZE or IPC-T3241T-ZAS (have both, didn't decide yet, probably will use IPC-T3241T-ZAS)
I want to connect the IPC to the NVR with this cable:
https://www.amazon.com/Outdoor-Waterproof-Ethernet-Direct-Shielded/dp/B001B6C5H8
1) Is 45 meter is too long for POE (I know Ethernet is good for up too 100 meter, but not sure if I miss anything else here - resistance etc')?
2) When buying direct burial cable, I must choose the exact size (with a bit of spare)? AFAIK it cannot be crimped....

Should be OK. Yeah, harder to crimp but you can do it. Cut off the outer jacket and you have about the same thing. Or terminate into a junction somewhere and run from there to your switch. I prefer to do the latter with mine. That big, heavy burial cable doesn't bend easy like a patch cable and is kind of tough to get into a crowded switch depending on the bends and your runs and all. And usually saves some money.

Your regular POE will be good for at least 100m and if you ever need more extended poe can go much further.
