Hi.
I just purchased my first cam from Andy based on the recommendations from you guys here.
I bought this cam to replace a Hikvision ds-2cd3332-i that has been in 24/7 duty since 2014.
Overall I am very impressed with this camera compared to my old one, but the FOV is completely different. The old Hikvision had a 4mm lens, so I ordered the 5442 with a 3.6mm lens. In theory that should be similar with a slightly bigger FOV on my new Dahua.
Anyway, as the attached screenshots show, it is a LOT larger. I suspected they had sent me a 2.8mm version but the box the camera came in says 3.6, the sticker on the camera itself and also the firmware says 3.6. What is the explanation behind this? The Dahua runs 2688x1520 resolution and the old Hik was 1920x1080 so the aspect ratio is similar.
