started out with 2 cameras with no video, than other 16 cameras froze, than update which I had not done yet could not be installed

shut down, reboot, update still hung. stopped web server rebooted installed update and had to have the cameras rescan settings.

what is going on?
 
it did a security update 2 days ago but I noticed python is using 3.5 gigs ram which I have never noticed it even running before

Any ring camera will work better than a non functioning system. Based on your last few threads it appears your system is never working. At some point just give up and admit this is not for you.

I have more than one pc desk and 3 in my office alone I started using BI when I had 1 axis 640 by 480 camera hooked up with bnc cable. I am not looking for tears but help in troubleshooting what is going on and I also share my issues with others so we can all learn. which is why I am a supporting member here

no I am still working on that one which is my bottom machine this is the machine listed in my Sig as the top on
