I would not be able to get on the roof, but I definitely could install an overview cam in my soffit from the low part of my yard with 18 feet of reach...





Damn Homedepot will not SHIP that thing to me...

In case it keeps anybody from a bad assumption, "reach" is not the same as the ladder height. The actual ladder height in extension mode is 14'10" , according to the gorilla ladder website.

iirc they also have a 22 foot model ..

For the 2nd story .. good question ..

note, I really do like this ladder ..




Looks like the 22 foot model is not on sale right now .. perhaps keep an eye on it ..

My buddy sold me his a few years ago....for 99 bucks...it was too cumbersome for him. They have a bit of weight to them....I can muscle it around...but he's 40 lbs lighter than me....

Of course were talking about 60 year old men.....not spry young installers... I like the options it gives you for setting up in unconventional ways with the adjustable length legs...etc...

We have one like this and it is surprisingly handy. It's a "buy" at $99 IMHO if you don't have this type of ladder already.
