This looks like a worthy upgrade my old and "trusty" mini 0806, I prefer form factor of these A11x and combined with good IQ it looks like a winner:

That looks very very good for night-time scenes, even though they are quite well lit, and with snow.
I wonder what the price will be?
I don't see any day-time samples yet.

Looks good but I prefer IMX322 with this chipset because of night.

Man we are picky people.

My guess would be under $100, but less is better. Current A118 is selling for $45.

Do these capacitor only dash cameras with no batteries, lose the date and time often? I'm looking at the "VIOFO A118C 1.5 inch H.264 1080P Novatek 96650 Capacitor Battery Car DVR Dash Cam" for $51.55 at Gearbest. I plan on using the car charger with this dash camera and not hardwiring it into the car?

Impressive park job. Looked real tight. Could have had a pull through if that car had not been over the line and taking up two spots. :p

No idea, I haven't owned dashcam with capacitor before, but I heard that it's better to have capacitor then regular batter as it degrades over time. My 0806 barely hold any charge now after 1.5 years almost

That flickering effect on the sides and on the lower part of the video was driving me nuts.

I see Spy Tec and Adorama (Newegg and Amazon respectively) sells this capacitor version at $90, are these models the same as OP?
