Yeah, the bolts are tight. It feels to me like the wobble is something internal, possibly a mechanical issue as you mentioned. The stutter looks like a physical issue with the motor or other mechanical issue.

No not yet, Trying to figure out how to ship the camera back for possibly repairs not sure if that is even possible in terms of repairing this issue. Was there ever a resolution on this? I was optimistic this would be a banger
Why isn’t the camera just being sent back to Andy’s USA return depot for a replacement?!? Being completely honest I wouldn’t want a repaired unit given the cost and obvious mechanical issue. No not yet, Trying to figure out how to ship the camera back for possibly repairs not sure if that is even possible in terms of repairing this issue.
I believe that is what Andy is working on – either a complete return or having HikVision do a repair/replacement. I agree, given the cost, it should not have that shake. Why isn’t the camera just being sent back to Andy’s USA return depot for a replacement?!? What is the status of your warranty?!?Not sure if you guys noticed, but Hikvision came out with another seems to be new 1/1.2 Sensor PTZ 9C series, and this one seems to include some Image Stabilization (EIS) with a built-in gyroscope to improve performance.
Maybe someone has a better idea than me,@bigredfish @wittaj @Parley @Teken but it sounds like that was the issue with the 8C series, which I shipped back due to the lack of Image Stabilization.

Wow! I like the looks of this one. The size is not as big as some of the others which is a plus. At 28 pounds though it does have some heft to it.Not sure if you guys noticed, but Hikvision came out with another seems to be new 1/1.2 Sensor PTZ 9C series, and this one seems to include some Image Stabilization (EIS) with a built-in gyroscope to improve performance.

The LPR and FD / FR is almost guaranteed to be single use! As it’s in every other hardware they have ever released!Holy Shit!
1/1.2" CMOS on a 4MP camera, 800m Laser IR, Dual lens, IVS on steroids including FD/FR and LPR
If I thought I could integrate it with my existing Dahua NVRs and spotter cams I'd be all over it
There are a few e-sellers on line that could probably special order this hardware. I’ve been dealing with a few on eBay for at least ten years and have never had any issues with them.I’m still waiting for a refund; however, Andy mentioned that Hikvision’s customer service and support have gone down the drain. It sounds like, at least for the moment, he doesn’t want to deal with them anymore. So, the question is: how do we place an order for this new one?
Because I might try to get this one and maybe this new one doesn’t have that shaking issue I had with the 8c version
I may have missed your past replies somewhere explaining how come the original unit is not being replaced / repaired vs a full refund?!?I will check back with Andy first to see if he can work something out. If enough people are interested, he might reconsider maybe who knows.
Another thing I want to do is watch the video of this new model to make sure it doesn't have the same shaking issue as the 8C series did. It would be great if the camera manufacturers posted sample videos of their models on the product page.
Yes, Hikvision first remoted in when I had the camera to try resolving the issue remotely with some pan/tilt speed controls, but the shake still remained. We also tried enabling and disabling OIS and EIS, but the issue persisted. Finally, Andy had me ship the camera back to them. Now, I think Hikvision is saying something like, "Oh, it's normal," or something along those lines. However, Andy is fighting with them, insisting that it's clearly not a normal shake. At this point, I'm waiting for a refund so I can order a different camera. That's why Andy said he's done with Hikvision PTZ cameras at the moment.I may have missed your past replies somewhere explaining how come the original unit is not being replaced / repaired vs a full refund?!?
Appreciate the update and current status. That is truly shitty service after the sale support from Hikvision!Yes, Hikvision first remoted in when I had the camera to try resolving the issue remotely with some pan/tilt speed controls, but the shake still remained. Don’t think so atleast I haven’t seen one yet I’m guessing 9c series only has that 1 with 1 1.2 sensorIs there a 4K version of this PTZ?
Thank You. I looked around the Hikvision website and could not find a 4K PTZ with a 1/1.2" sensor.Don’t think so atleast I haven’t seen one yet I’m guessing 9c series only has that 1 with 1 1.2 sensor
