Can anybody recommend a dome enclosure for the PTZ1A2M-25X? I definitely need to get it covered before the snow starts.

It is made to be outside and exposed.

My neighbor has had his on the roof for years thru snow and everything else. The camera stays warm so snow doesn't build up on it.

If you put an enclosure over it, the heat of the camera will then cause condensation on the dome and render it useless.

That's good to know. I guess we'll see how it does in Alaska at -5F.

As an aside, the DHI-TPC-SD2241-T is working well. I wish it had the optical zoom of the other camera, but for spotting living things it works well.

I still have a thermal bullet camera to test out and add to the mix. Then it will be time to buckle down and figure out ONVIF (ran into an issue early on in my attempts so far and haven't dedicated much time). Need to figure that out and then train an AI model so I can only get notifications about moose & bear because the constant squirrels and birds keep blowing up our inbox.

Also want to make it track living things. The native Autotrack doesn't work very well at all, or perhaps I'm just doing it wrong.
