I decided to go with a new camera that has not been listed here. I needed the wider view for my location. I contacted AliExpress storefront Enster and a Tommy Tu responded in a few minutes. He answered all my questions and told me about Chinese New Year getting ready to start. He uses email instead of chat box and his English is good. I ordered on Feb 3 using PayPal and it was delivered by DHL on Feb 8 in a nice completely sealed plastic wrapped box with no damage. Tommy said he would walk the order through to get it out that morning. He sent me the tracking number from home after their new year started. Here is the breakdown on cost:
The unit price for this model with POE is $78/pc.
If you just need one by DHL shipping to USA, cost is $35
Paying by PayPal, 4% cost is: $5
So, total cost will be: $118
Here is the store link:

It has audio but I do not use it and cannot comment on it. The camera looks about the same as the Huisun 10X but maybe a little smaller. I used ONVF and the POE, and they worked with no problems.
We have been getting a lot of rain and I have it mounted temporarily The rain makes the concrete shiny which makes it harder to set up right. I am still playing with the adjustments. The camera uses CMS and it about the same as all other CMS applications. I am happy with it and will be ordering some more. I think dealing with Tommy is what made this buy go better.
One of the pictures is shown with a security light set to high and the other one is set to low. The IR seems to work great.

Thank you! Do you think you can post some UI screens?

Here are the UI screens. Someone might have some general ideas of what these settings should be. That would be appreciated as I am still playing with them.

Looks exactly like My Sunba 20x interface. I've found that DWDR open @ 25 during the day is best for me and DWDR closed at night on my Sunba.

Thanks! That's what I thought this being the same UI as most other cams.

Does your Sunba allow you to make the change to DWDR based on the time (day/night)? Or are you having to manually make these changes?

ATM, you have to change it manually. I've already brought it up to the Sunba people that it would be nice to have it make the changes automatically or via PTZ commands. From there, all I (we) can do is wait and see...

Wondering how slow the shutter speed (longest exposure time) can go? Interesting to see the "slow shutter" option, although it doesn't seem to specify how slow.

The cameras that I have running a very similar, if not identical, firmware allows for Slow shutter to be set at None, Low, Medium, High. It does not indicate in the documentation what that really is doing to the image exposure but it is very evident that it holds the "aperture" open longer to make the capture since objects captured with high slow shutter settings become very blurred/ghosted. Also, my image below shows the lowest and highest settings that are allowed for the exposure settings for my particular camera(s).

Interesting...The 80ms is approximately 1/12...Just curious, if the "slow shutter" option is clicked on "high", does it allow the max exposure to be set higher than 80? or is 80 the highest regardless of what the slow shutter is set to?

On my particular camera (again, not the same as this thread is about) changing the slow shutter option does not allow for the min and max exposure to be changed any more or less than what is in the screen capture. I tried changing the slow shutter to high and then increasing the exposure and it defaults to the min/max once you have exceeded the set limits.

Thanks! Hmm, makes me wonder if that 1/12 means the max exposure time if slow shutter is fully enabled, or if that's the starting point of slow shutter and it somehow increases by certain multiples from there...

Well, I have one coming. I have an area that needs the 2.8mm for default viewing (vs the 5.1mm in the similar 10x version) that I want zoom for when I'm around the computer. Ordered it with POE and mic. Here's hoping it's as good as the Huisun and Sunba cams I've recently picked up!

From where did you order yours? Did it actually have a built in mic or just audio port?

Enster. That said, I just now got an email from them that there won't be a microphone after all as it would stop it from being waterproof. I emailed them back and asked if they could include an audio port in place of the microphone. I'm betting that the answer will be no. We'll see...

Huisun v2 has 2.8mm-12mm (4x) now, about same price. Keep in mind this one has older IMX222 chipset.

I think you will find it satisfactory. I have. I have the Huisun and have not put it up yet. I am using the ENster instead of it because of the wide view.

I just emailed these guys about the shutter speed and they sent a snapshot showing the max shutter as 65.536 millisecond..This is approximately 1/15 second...(image below)

snapshot.jpg

I've asked for clarification as to what the "slow shutter" option will do; if slow shutter must be on "high" for it to reach the 1/15 or if the slow shutter is something slower in addition to the 1/15 (ie. closer to 1 second)....Waiting to hear back.

Got my reply on the microphone. No dice. No microphone and no chance for an audio cable to hook up an external microphone. For the price ($108.50 shipped), I'll still get one, but a microphone or an audio cable would have led to more sales for sure...
