US Elections (& Politics) :)

Y'all remember when Ron Paul was one of the Republican candidates in 2012 and he campaigned on how we had to balance the budget, slash wasteful spending, end foreign aid, and how we could even eliminate the federal income tax and STILL have a balanced budget with the appropriate spending cuts, but you guys voted for Mitt Romney instead?

I do.

I voted for the libertarian that year. The GOP sunk to an all-time low that year....hard to believe they sunk lower than John McCain in 2008 yet they did.

Maybe a good start but that's not near enough. And seriously, you wanna give all taxpayers a $5,000 DOGE refund? SMH

The Republicans were doing whatever they could to appeal to the left-- twice in a row, they ran left-of-center candidates, and both times they lost. The left then claimed that the right had moved too far to the right, despite doing this. Now we see how well THAT has worked out...

The entire US Government is one big lie. All of it.

But hey, I'm sure we'll get the truth on Epstein, JFK, etc...

Lutnick Explains Trump Plan To Eliminate Taxes For Those Earning Under $150,000

"I know what [Trump’s] goal is ... no tax, for anybody who makes less than $150,000 a year. That’s his goal. That’s what I’m working for," Lutnick told CBS News in a Wednesday interview.

The on Thursday, Lutnick told Fox News: "What we discussed was when the president balances the budget, his first move is going to be—he has suggested that he would like to waive taxes for people under $150,000. That's aspirational."

Lutnick also mentioned Trump's 2024 proposals to end taxes on overtime pay, tips, and Social Security payments - while the president has also touted the creation of an "External Revenue Service" to collect duties, and even floated ending all federal income tax if the tariff revenues are sufficient.

"How about no tax on tips? How about no tax on overtime? How about no social security? How about all those things?" Lutnick said on Wednesday.

The system has been designed for fraud, abuse and grifters.

The whole thing is going to come down like the house of cards it is.
